“Un Mundo Sin…” is a Spanish-language animated series aimed at children, exploring imaginative scenarios where fundamental aspects of life disappear—such as electricity, language, or symmetry. Hosted on the YouTube channel Naisekai, the series has reached a wide audience, with over 1.9 million subscribers and millions of views per season.
Starting with season 3, the sound design and foley were crafted by Fungus, the studio led by my partner. Their work brought a rich acoustic layer to the series, enhancing its speculative tone and emotional depth. Through field recordings, synthesized textures, and carefully curated foley, Fungus helped create immersive soundscapes that complemented the visual storytelling and resonated with young audiences.
This collaboration continued through the final season, contributing to the show's distinctive atmosphere and reinforcing its playful yet thought-provoking style. The sound design was especially critical in episodes where silence, abstraction, or surreal environments played a central role—turning each episode into a multisensory experience.
